Generally speaking, most tattoos that women get are small and are usually hidden where others can't see it. This is done partly because it's sexy and partly because they want to be able to flaunt it when the mood or the company is right but hide it when at work perhaps.
One tattoo that is very fashionable with the ladies is a dragonfly tattoo. Some girls get one because their pals have already had one and they like it. Others though have very personal reasons for choosing the dragonfly tattoo. To understand why someone has a dragonfly tattoo, you first have to understand about the dragonfly. Dragonflies are unique creatures because they don't follow the crowd. They aren't like house flies that just buzz along everywhere. A dragonfly is very powerful for its size, with a lot of stamina and it doesn't give up easily. They are stronger than other creatures their size but at the same time they are very beautiful.

If you are considering a tattoo, think about the reason you want it and don't forget that it should be worn somewhere that won't matter in your later life.
