from:Tattoos have been around for centuries. In their early days they were primarily worn as a tribal mark and although that is still sometimes the case today, usually now a days it is a fashion statement.
Tattoos are now more popular than ever having become much more acceptable over the last decade. Gone are the days of back street parlors in ports. Now we have salons and studios frequented by sports and pop stars. They are now very much a part of western culture.
If you are looking for ideas for tattoos, make sure you give it plenty of thought. You may think it looks cool today but will you in a few years? Once you have chosen one, resist the temptation for a few months then go back and look again. If you still love it then great but if not, find another design and repeat the process until you are 100% certain its the one for you.

Tattoos that are easily concealed are becoming very popular, especially among women. One on your butt is not going to be a problem a few years down the line when you go for that job interview (depending on the job of course;-) where as one on your arm or ankle might be.
